The Institution Mixte Notre Dame de Lourdes invites you to spend time with children of all ages in order to better discover themself, accept themself, and guide the children in a variety of activities related to various topics.

Your participation will make a significant contribution to the Institution’s mission. It is an incredible experience to live. Several opportunities exist depending on your level of expertise: Participate in the children’s daily lives in the institution (bathing, hairdressing and barbering, feeding, cleaning the space, spending time with the children by organizing games, and then sharing one’s personality values). Music, drawing, painting, creative workshop, dancing, singing, theatrical, writing, arts and crafts, and other valuable talents should be shared.

Academically: teach courses integrated to the cultural reality, based on your competence. Develop small projects such as repairs, painting, electricity, purchase of materials, exculsions beneficial to the functioning of a large family that is the Institution. Work in the vegetable garden (cleaning, turning soil, planting seeds and harvesting.

Being a volunteer offers the chance to interact with the kids, listen to their stories, and learn about their cultures. It is a voluntary activity that promotes the sharing of human values first and competence second and calls for self-surrender and acceptance of others.
